The Luglio family has played an important role in the economic life of Genoa since 1939, in both the field of cinema and theatre and property building.

In 1967, Camillo Luglio turned to the yachting sector and founded the Cantieri Navali Genovesi srl company, with a slipway which, at the time, could haul vessels of up to 30 metres, and gained an excellent reputation in the repair field.

In the 70′s his son Ennio, on becoming the company director, continued the work begun by his father Camillo, the scale of the operations further expanded in the subsequent years thanks to the involvement of Piero Caprani, a man with great experience in the yachting sector.

In this same 90′s period, Ennio Luglio conceived and promoted the Marina of Genoa airport, in collaboration with prestigious partners, this marina having a 2,000 boat mooring place capacity, the company formed to run it being “Porto Turistico Camillo Luglio” named after his father.

The shipyard was totally modernized in 2003 and equipped with modern facilities in order to satisfy customers’ requirements and to meet the needs of various kinds of vessels, right up to the superyacht.

Today, the Luglio family, now in its third generation with Valerio and Gaia, continues to be involved in shipyard operations, offering highly professional and reliable services in an informal and friendly environment.
